Art Weiss, the managing member, is a CPA with over 25 years of financial experience. He has a Master of Accounting Science degree from the University of Illinois and a BSBA degree in Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He started his career in the tax department of Arthur Andersen in St. Louis. He then founded the accounting and consulting firm of Weiss, Yess and Co., which he later sold to CBIZ. Prior to founding Lisart Capital, he served as an Executive Vice-President at Allegiant Bank. He founded their tax credit program. Art has been directly involved in over $200 million of tax credit transactions. Nadia Nance, Vice-President, joined Lisart Capital in 2011. She spent the prior four years with Commerce Bank working in the Tax Credit Services Department. Through her solid network of industry professionals she has been active in helping developers assemble a team of experienced professionals. Her knowledge of both federal and state historic tax credit programs has been consultative in nature and she has assisted developers across the mid-west get their projects underway. With Lisart Capital, she will not only supplement the efforts in Missouri, but will expand the state tax credit brokerage practice into Kansas, Iowa, and Arkansas. Nadia is heavily involved in the historic preservation aspect of the process and through her efforts at Lisart Capital, she will continue her contribution to the preservation movement. Nadia graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Organizational Communications. She has remained active by continuing her knowledge of historic preservation by attending both statewide and national preservation conferences.
